Trent Kunz

We regret to inform you that our managing attorney and the owner of Salmon Creek Law Offices, Trent Kunz, passed away unexpectedly on February 13, 2023. We have been working diligently to ensure a smooth transition to new firm owner, Myatt & Bell, P.C.

Trent was an adjunct professor at Clark College for over 10 years, where he taught wills, trusts, probate, and business law and also and served as the Deputy City Attorney of Battleground, Washington. Trent is active with the Washington State Bar Association as a faculty presenter in the Continuing Legal Education Department and is a presenter at estate planning and probate seminars for local financial institutions and churches. Trent was voted by his peers as a “Best of CLE” presenter.

Kathy received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wyoming in 1988, majoring in Psychology. In 2016 she was awarded a Paralegal Certificate of Proficiency with Merit from Clark College. Kathy joined Salmon Creek Law Offices in 2018, where she assists with probate matters and estate planning. In her spare time, she volunteers as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for children (CASA) and sings with the Vancouver Master Chorale. On weekends she can often be found walking the local trails with her lively golden retriever.
